Mystic Fire Paso Fino Horses is a small scale operation located in rural Northeast Florida. I currently own three Paso Fino horses. Gancho Rojo is my 15/16th Puerto Rican Paso Fino gelding who is my main trail horse and exhibition performer. Baccarat HP, aka “Brass”, is my Colombian Paso Fino stallion and my son's primary trail and lesson horse. I also have a brand new addition here at the farm. A yearling half Colombian/half Puerto Rican colt that will be my primary show horse.

I have owned, bred, trained, and shown Paso Fino Horses for almost 20 years. During that time I have done just about everything with my horses. I mainly trail ride, but I have also competed in Limited Distance Endurance Rides, Team Penning and Sorting, Speed Games, participated in Parades, Breed Demos and Exhibitions, enjoy Horse Dancing, Dressage, and shows. I like to prove that Paso Finos can do it all. Most of the time you can find me and my horses out on a wooded trail, or along a roadside enjoying miles of scenery and beautiful weather.

Check out my horses pages by using the drop down menu in the "Mystic Fire" tab above. Each horse has a bio page, a gallery and video. The horse's pages will be updated periodically as new photos and videos become available. So check back often! There is also a "Memorial" page for some of the great Paso Fino horses I have owned over the years. Also read about "Paso Fiesta", the little local group of Paso riding trail riders and parade participants.

Current Events

Currently my horses are taking the summer off from showing. Gancho will be spending most of his time on the trails and at the local team penning and barrel racing arenas. "Brass" and my son will be brushing up on their skills for the upcoming Fall shows. Brass will also be used as a lesson horse for one of the family's neices. He gets along really well with children. And little "Stormy" will be learning how to do Bella Forma so that he can make his show ring debute in the halter classes at this Fall's Open Shows.

September will begin our busy show schedule.

"Brass" will soon become a gelding. It was a hard decision to make that required A LOT of thought. I feel a good stallion makes a great gelding, and by being a gelding he will have more opporitunities as a good Youth mount. In the meantime he will still be standing at stud. What a bargin at only $500 (reduced live cover fee) to breed to a stallion with such quality bloodlines.
